Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGVs, or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry?

As part of our team at Volvo, you will work a 39 hours per week, with a competitive pay rate of up to £20 per hour with overtime, quarterly bonus, and excellent earning potential.

We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our Aberdeen dayshift, working Monday – Thursday 7.30 am to 4 pm with an early finish on Friday.

What you will do

The Role – some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
• Assist in the fault diagnosis process
• Service customer vehicles and complete service sheets
• Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
• Assist with roadside breakdowns
• Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
• Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
• Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy, and well-maintained
• Support the development of trainees and apprentices
