Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd is seeking an apprentice-trained, fully qualified HGV Technician to service a mixed fleet of light commercial and heavy goods vehicles in Northamptonshire.

The role involves diagnosing faults, carrying out routine servicing and maintenance, and performing 6-weekly inspections. The position follows a 4 on, 4 off rota with 6am–6pm shifts and an hourly pay rate of £20–£25 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained, fully qualified HGV Technician with experience on light commercial and HGV vehicles.
• Experience performing service, maintenance and repair on a mixed fleet.
• Familiar with 6 weekly inspections and fault diagnostics.

The Automotive division of Questech Recruitment are currently looking for a HGV Technician to work 4 on 4 off shift for a well respected client in Northamptonshire.

THE ROLE:

You will be an apprentice trained, fully qualified HGV Technician and have experience working with a variety of light commercial and HGV vehicles.

THE DUTIES:

• Carrying out Service, Maintenance and Repair of a mixed fleet of vehicles.
• Diagnosing faults.
• Carrying out 6 weekly inspections.

THE HOURS:

You will work a 4 on 4 off rota (The hours are 6am - 6pm)

Pay:

You will earn an hourly rate of between £20 - £25 per hour, dependent on experience.
