Qualifications

• Experience working on HGVs, preferably Scania.

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic

Salary:£53,300 (Nights)/£43,900 (Days)
Location:Wakefield
Job Type:Permanent, Full-time
Shifts:Days or Nights available (Nights = Sun - Weds / Days = Weds - Sat)

We're looking for an experiencedHGV Technicianto join a busy fleet maintenance workshop in Wakefield. You'll be working on a range of HGVs - mainly Scania - as well as various trailers which will include Fridge Trailers.

The workshop is fully equipped with 9 bays, vehicle lifts, pits and a full MOT lane, providing everything ourHGV Techniciansneed to do the job safely and efficiently.

The Role:

• Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on HGVs and trailers
• Diagnose and rectify faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
• Work as part of a skilled team ofHGV Techniciansensuring vehicles are maintained to VOSA standards
• Complete all paperwork accurately and on time

Shift Patterns:

• Nights:Sunday to Wednesday 6pm - 6am (12-hour shifts)
• Days:Wednesday to Saturday 6am - 5.45pm
