Qualifications

• Fully skilled with a Level 3 HGV / PSV apprenticeship.
• Minimum of a car/van driving licence required.
• HGV licence and IRTEC qualification desirable.

HGV Technician - Joining Bonus of £1,500 !!

Biffa Waste - Taunton Depot

Pay Rate: £19.22p/h

Shift Pattern: 06:00 - 15:30 / 12:30 - 22:00hrs rotating weekly - Overtime & Call Out Available

Monday to Friday (45hrs per week), with some Saturdays when required

You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles and waste management equipment to meet health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements. This includes scheduled preventative inspections to meet Biffa’s operator’s licence commitments. Our fleet varies from light commercial vans to 44t articulated assets, offering diverse learning opportunities for your technical development.

We welcome applications from professionals with experience as PSV Mechanic, Heavy Goods Technician, Lorry Mechanic, LGV Technician, HGV Technician, or HGV Mechanic. Skilled or semi-skilled technicians interested in upskilling and career growth are encouraged to apply.

• Technician level preferred.
