• Fully skilled with Level 3 HGV/PSV qualification.
• Technician level experience required.
• Minimum car/van driving licence; HGV licence desirable.

HGV Technician - Joining Bonus of £1,500 !!

Biffa Waste - Sheffield Depot

Salary: £19.22p/h

Shift Pattern: 0600-1500 / 1300-2200 rotating weekly. Overtime & Call Out Available

Monday to Friday (45hrs per week)

Role Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles and waste management handling equipment in compliance with health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements.
• Perform scheduled preventative services and maintenance inspections to meet Biffa’s operator’s licence commitments.
• Work with a diverse fleet ranging from light commercial vans to 44t articulated assets, providing opportunities to develop your technical skills.

Candidate Requirements

• Fully skilled with a Level 3 HGV / PSV apprentice qualification, City and Guilds, or NVQ Qualification.
• Technician level experience.
• Minimum of a car/van driving licence; HGV licence and IRTEC qualification are desirable.
