Qualifications

  • Hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
  • Experience working on HGVs or an apprenticeship in the HGV industry.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out repairs according to Volvo procedures safely.
  • Assist in fault diagnosis and service customer vehicles.
  • Maintain workshop facilities, equipment, and tools.

Shift Pattern

Rotational basis:

  • Days: Monday - Thursday 0800-1630 | Friday 0800-1530
  • Backshift: Monday - Thursday 1430 - 2300 | Friday 1330-2100
Qualifications

Hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, with experience working on HGVs or an apprenticeship in the HGV industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out repairs according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
  • Assist in fault diagnosis
  • Service customer vehicles and complete service sheets
  • Road test vehicles (if holding an HGV license)
  • Assist with roadside breakdowns
  • Process relevant paperwork accurately
  • Report vehicle defects
  • Maintain workshop facilities, equipment, and tools
  • Support the development of trainees and apprentices
