Responsibilities

• Effectuer des réparations mécaniques, y compris des réparations électriques et des diagnostics.
• Maintenir un environnement de travail propre et suivre les procédures de santé et de sécurité.

Job description

HGV Technician with a modern workshop in Newtownabbey, strong pay rates, overtime 1.5 and MOT bonus giving you high earning potential

Market leading salary in £43 - 48k range

Monday to Friday hours, with options for day shift and early/ late rotations

29 days holiday increasing with service, MOT bonus, overtime rates, company pension and healthcare scheme

Suitable candidates will need to be Level 3 qualified in Light OR Heavy Vehicle Repair, with mechanical experience on commercial vehicles/ HGV's.

You will be joining a large, modern workshop environment using up to date diagnostics, good facilities and working with an experienced team of Mechanics.

The Role:

• Provide high quality standard of service and repair to a range of HGV's
• Carry out mechanical repairs on a variety of commercial vehicles and HGV's, including electrical repairs and diagnostic fault finding
• Rectify faults on a 'right first time' approach
• Work in line with health and safety procedures and keep a clean work area
• Complete relevant paperwork and vehicle repair information
• Communicate technical information to customers when required

What we are looking for:

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Repair (HGV, Light Vehicle or Plant)
• Mechanical experience on HGV's & Commercial Vehicles in a workshop setting
• Good technical knowledge and diagnostic fault finding
• Able to plan and organise your daily workload
• Can work to high quality and efficiently
