Job summary

Venatu Consulting Ltd in Loughborough is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic for a permanent, full-time role on a Monday to Friday day shift. Overtime is available at time and a half, and the company will support and fund an HGV driving licence.

You will service, inspect, repair and maintain a range of specialist vehicles, including RCVs and cage fitters, while working with an experienced team to uphold safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• A recognised Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or related discipline.
• Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic or HGV Technician.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
• Complete inspections and repairs to a high standard.
• Work on RCVs and cage fitter vehicles.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained safely and efficiently.
• Carry out repairs in line with safety and manufacturer standards.
• Work as part of an experienced and supportive team.

HGV Mechanic

Location: Loughborough

Salary: £46,215 per annum (£22.22 per hour)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (Some flexibility around timings)

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Overtime: Available at time and a half

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join the team in Loughborough on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified HGV Mechanic looking for a stable Monday to Friday position, with overtime available at time and a half and the opportunity to gain an HGV driving licence, supported and funded by the company.

The Role

As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, repair and maintenance of a range of specialist vehicles, including RCVs and cage fitters.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
• Completing inspections and repairs to a high standard
• Working on RCVs and cage fitter vehicles
• Ensuring all vehicles are maintained safely and efficiently
• Carrying out repairs in line with relevant safety and manufacturer standards
• Working as part of an experienced and supportive team

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• A recognised Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Vehicle Maintenance or a related discipline
• Previous experience working as an HGV Mechanic or HGV Technician
