HGV Technician

Location: Pinxton

Salary: £43,000 per year

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm (1-hour break), 40 hours per week

My client is an award-winning fleet maintenance company with over 30 years of experience. They offer a wide range of services and operate globally. Due to their continued success, they are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their growing team.

About your new HGV Technician role

You will perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications on a fleet of vehicles and trailers, providing technical support from fault analysis to completion. You will ensure all work meets high standards and complies with health and safety regulations. Additionally, you will conduct pre-MOT checks and carry out necessary repairs.

General HGV Technician duties

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications on HGVs and trailers
• Conduct pre-MOT inspections and repairs
• Provide technical support and fault analysis

The successful HGV Technician will have

• In-depth knowledge of HGVs and trailers
• HGV Class 1 license
• Industry-recognized qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3) in heavy vehicle service, maintenance, and repair
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician
