HGV Technician

Depot Location: Gateshead

Working Hours: 9pm to 8am

Shift Pattern: WK1 = Monday to Thursday, WK2 = Tuesday to Friday, WK3 = Monday & Tuesday and Thursday & Friday

Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent

Financial Package: GBP 22.50 per hour, approximately GBP 52,000 to GBP 55,036 per annum

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business, is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician for a night shift.

Responsibilities include:

1. Carrying out repairs identified during initial inspections
2. General servicing and MOT preparation
3. Fault finding and diagnostics
4. Updating all relevant paperwork and databases

The ideal candidate will have:

• Full industry qualifications and completed a recognized apprenticeship
• Detailed knowledge of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
• A commercial driving license is advantageous but not essential
