Job summary

Command Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Technician in Southampton to maintain and repair commercial vehicles to the highest standards. The role offers flexible working hours and full manufacturer training, with uncapped bonus potential and overtime.

You will diagnose faults, service and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic systems, complete service documentation, and work to manufacturer procedures. A valid UK driving licence is required; HGV licence training is available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge of commercial vehicles.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous, with training available if required).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing vehicle faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs efficiently and accurately.

The Role
