About your new company

My client is a large HGV Maintenance company with depots around the UK. They work to the highest standards and offer continuous training and progression opportunities. Due to their ongoing success, they are looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join their growing team.

About your new HGV Technician role:

Working in a team of highly skilled HGV Technicians on a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles, the successful applicants will undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair, including:

• Vehicle inspections
• General servicing and pre-planned maintenance
• Reactive maintenance as required
• MOT preparation and presentation
• Correction of running defects
• General HGV Technician duties

The successful HGV Technician will require:

• In-depth knowledge of HGVs and trailers
• HGV Class 1 licence (desirable but not essential)
• Industry-recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3) in heavy vehicle service, maintenance, and repair
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician

The successful HGV Technician will receive:
