Job summary

Accord Resourcing Ltd is recruiting an experienced HGV Technician for a busy Croydon workshop. The role offers day shifts with a Saturday rota, ongoing overtime, and strong earning potential.

You will maintain and repair a fleet of heavy goods vehicles to high safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates hold a Level 3 HGV qualification and have prior commercial vehicle experience, with fault-finding and diagnostic skills to perform mechanical and electrical repairs.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in HGV/Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is essential.
• Experience with commercial vehicles is required.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities are expected.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and preventative maintenance.

We're currently recruiting an experienced HGV Technician for a busy and well-established commercial vehicle workshop in Croydon.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified technician who prefers a day shift pattern while still benefiting from excellent earning potential, overtime opportunities and long-term career development.

The role

Working within a professional workshop environment, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy commercial vehicles to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Routine servicing and preventative maintenance
• Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis
• Repairs and component replacement
• MOT preparation and compliance checks
• Use of diagnostic equipment
• Accurate completion of workshop documentation

What we're looking for

• Level 3 qualification in HGV / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential)
• Previous commercial vehicle experience
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Professional and reliable attitude
