Job summary

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their Coventry depot. The role covers service, inspection, maintenance and repair of trailers, with a Tuesday–Saturday day shift from 7am to 4pm.

You will diagnose electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic faults, overhaul electrical equipment and carry out MOT preparation, parts ordering and stores management. City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or time-served experience is required.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified HGV technician with City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 or proven time-served experience.
• Adept at maintenance and repair of commercial vehicles and trailers.
• Experience with electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Service, inspection, maintenance and repair of trailers.
• Electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation.
• Overhaul electrical equipment and components.
