What you will do

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Renault Truck Commercials Network - RTC in Faversham, Kent

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and HGV Level 3 qualified HGV Technician to join our thriving and busy Kent Dealership.

Main Duties:
  • Shifts: 40 hours per week
  • Pay rate: up to £19.00 per hour
  • Early Shift: 06:00 - 14:30
  • Late Shift: 13:30 - 22:00
  • Alternate Saturdays: 06:00 - 12:00
  • Extra payments for Saturday mornings, standby, and call-out
  • Ensure work is carried out efficiently, following Service Process Maps
  • Be fully briefed on job requirements and budgets per up-front job specifications
  • Provide diagnostic outcomes and specify repair solutions accurately
  • Follow time recording procedures, including correct use of codes as per productivity policy
  • Ensure jobs are fully specified and handed to CSR for invoicing
Knowledge:
  • Significant experience as a Dealership Technician within the Commercial Vehicle industry
  • Good knowledge of VOSA requirements and MOT tester's manual
  • Application of Standard Times
  • Knowledge of Service Process stages relevant to the role
  • Understanding of customer needs, operational environment, and impact on their business
  • Technical product knowledge
Required Competences
  • City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in Commercial Vehicle Technology
  • Organized and methodical work approach ensuring daily tasks are completed
  • Ability to adapt approach to ensure positive outcomes in specific circumstances
  • Ability to analyze technical issues and propose solutions
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
  • 25 days of annual leave, increasing with service
