Job summary

Consult2Recruit is recruiting on behalf of an ambitious commercial vehicle business in Blackburn for an HGV Technician. You will join the workshop to service and repair refuse collection vehicles, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities include routine servicing, diagnostics, MOT prep and preventative maintenance, with emphasis on accurate workshop documentation and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HGV/HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic skills.
• Proactive approach to maintenance and servicing.
• Ability to work to high safety and quality standards.

• Up to £23.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Overtime paid at Time & a Half
• 9:00am starts - flexible

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the fleet is maintained to the highest possible standards, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on refuse collection vehicles.

Your responsibilities will include:

About You

You’ll ideally have experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
