Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking an experienced HGV Tanker Engineer to operate vacuum tankers on a Hampshire-based contract from Havant depot. The role covers drainage and waste management tasks across the region, with company-provided equipment and app-driven job assignments from the Operations Supervisor.

Hours are 4 days on, 4 days off, covering day and night shifts. A full HGV licence with CPC and tachograph card is required; 20% uplift on night shifts enhances the £17 per hour rate.

About the Role:

We are looking for HGV Class 1 or Class 2 drivers to work on a full time basis for days on our waste water contract.

Driving a vacuum tanker, the work incorporates tankering various non-hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities across the regions. You will be provided with a phone and an app to outline the jobs that have been assigned to you by the Operations Supervisor

Due to the nature of the role, a full HGV Class 1 or Class 2 UK drivers licence with CPC and have up to date digi tachograph card.

Location: Working out of Havant Depot - Portsmouth - Covering the Hampshire Region

Hours: 4 days on 4 days off to cover days and nights

Salary: £17phr

20% uplift on night shifts

Experience and qualifications required for the role:

• HGV class 1 or class 2 driving licence


• Valid in date CPC and up to date taco
