Job summary

Scania Leeds is seeking an experienced HGV Technician Shift Supervisor to lead our workshop team and drive efficient service for our customers in Leeds.

You will oversee a skilled group of technicians, mentor apprentices, uphold high health and safety standards, and collaborate with service staff to deliver first-class vehicle maintenance and swift issue resolution. • Promote high standards on job cards to prevent warranty rejections.
• Mentor apprentices to develop future technicians.

HGV Technician Shift Supervisor - Leeds

Working Hours: Rotating shift pattern Monday to Friday, Week 1: 06:00 to 14:00, Week 2: Tuesday to Friday 12:00 to 00:00

£18.64 - £22.50 per hour plus an excellent benefits package, including:

An exciting opportunity to join our team at Scania Leeds at the heart of all workshop activity. You will be an organised people leader, with proven workshop experience, who encourages and promotes a team environment. You will manage a team of skilled technicians, providing guidance, support, and ensuring a safe place to work, through excellent Health and Safety protocols. You will be passionate about the efficient running of the Workshop and pro-active communication, delivering a fantastic service to all customers.

Key responsibilities:
