Qualifications

• Valid HGV licence with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a commercial delivery driver.
• Knowledge of road safety regulations for commercial vehicles.
• Ability to load, secure and unload items safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGVs to transport goods between locations.
• Load and unload items, securing cargo for transit.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety.
• Plan efficient routes and monitor delivery schedules.
• Communicate with dispatch about timing and issues.
• Assist with furniture disassembly/assembly when needed.
• Maintain records of deliveries, mileage and maintenance.
