Job summary

Command Recruitment is seeking an HGV Prep Technician in Swindon to service and prep heavy goods vehicles to top standards. The role offers flexible hours and good training with clear career progression to senior technician roles.

The package includes a strong basic salary, a £6,000 bonus potential and the chance to earn £60,000+ with progression. Day, late and night shifts are available, with pension and training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HGV Prep Technician, HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
• Level 3 qualification preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and routine maintenance.
• Pre-delivery inspections (PDIs).
• Vehicle health checks.
• Minor repairs and rectification work.
• Replacing service items including brakes, filters and fluids.
• Completing workshop documentation accurately.
