We are looking for a HGV & Plant Driver Operative to join our stores team to support our Bin Delivery and Skip Service across the city of Liverpool. In the role of HGV Plant Driver Operative you will be required to use technical devices such as handheld equipment to record and document activities and assist in the improvement of the serviceIn this role of HGV Plant Driver Operative you will take responsibility for any vehicle or equipment assigned including vehicle checks, reporting damage using the agreed processes, security of itemsAs part of the role of HGV Plant Driver Operative you will assist with planned or reactive tasks and events, including joint working with other areas of the service using heavy vehicle and equipment on and off siteThe role of HGV Plant Driver Operative you will be required to undertake carrying, stacking and lifting of refuse bins in preparation for the delivery and collection to residents across the city in accordance with a delivery schedule and to report and record status of bin delivery tasks using existing technology eg Confirm

To fulfil the requirements of the role you must have a full UK driving licence category C HGV and a Drivers Qualification Card (DQC). Previous HGV driving experience in a work environment is essential as well as knowledge of health and safety requirements.

Please note there is an additional irregular hours allowance of £786.00 per annum to be paid in addition to the salary quoted.
