Job summary

Anonymous client in Lincolnshire is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to diagnose, service and repair heavy goods vehicles in a busy workshop. You will perform routine maintenance, MOT preparation and defect repairs while ensuring safety and compliance standards are met.

The role is full-time and permanent, with Monday to Friday 07:30-17:30 and Saturdays on a rota 07:30-13:00. There is also on-call/out-of-hours work as part of the rota.

Qualifications

• Qualified HGV Technician/Mechanic (Level 3 or equivalent).
• Proven experience working on HGVs/commercial vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential).
• Own tools preferred.
• Willingness to participate in on-call/out-of-hours rota.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing HGVs and commercial vehicles.
• Carrying out routine maintenance, MOT preparation, and defect repairs.
