Job summary

Euro-projects Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an HGV Mechanic in the Nuneaton area. The role covers servicing, inspections, MOT prep and reactive repairs on heavy vehicles, with a focus on diagnostics and fault finding.

You'll work Monday to Friday days with occasional Saturdays, and earn £38,000–£45,000 depending on experience, plus overtime, pension and training opportunities. Local candidates from Nuneaton, Coventry, Bedworth, Hinckley, Leicester are welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing, diagnostics and repairs on HGVs or heavy vehicles.
• Level 3 qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI) is required.
• IRTEC accreditation is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, inspections, MOT prep and reactive repairs.
• Fault finding and diagnostics on HGVs and trailers.
• Welding and fabrication work where needed.
• Completing job cards and maintenance records.
• Supporting breakdown and roadside repairs when required.

• Day’s role Monday - Friday with the odd Saturday morning (spread across the team).

• A mechanically biased HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Fitter.
• Strong background in servicing, diagnostics and repairs on HGVs or heavy vehicles.
• Level 3 qualified (NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI)
• IRTEC accreditation (desirable but not essential).
• Someone local to Nuneaton
