Job summary

Close Brothers Vehicle Hire (CBVH) is seeking skilled technicians to repair and maintain a fleet of HGVs and LCVs, ensuring compliance with CBVH and DVSA standards. The role involves cosmetic and mechanical work, MOT preparation, and routine safety inspections in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing HGVs and other commercial vehicles.
• Tenacious and resilient with a strong customer focus.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities.
• Practical problem-solving skills and a drive to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain CBVH vehicles in line with CBVH and DVSA standards.
• Carry out mechanical and cosmetic repairs across various vehicle types.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and present for MOT when required.
• Conduct routine six-weekly safety inspections and B services.
• Operate workshop diagnostics and equipment safely and effectively.
• Replace vehicle components as needed and perform warranty repairs.
• Respond to customer queries professionally and meet deadlines.
• Provide breakdown support and mobile repair services as needed.
