Job summary

Lanes Group Ltd is a leading nationwide utility services provider with c.5000 employees, and we are seeking a Drainage Operative to carry out remote CCTV investigations and jetting operations across the UK depot network, from Aberdeen to Plymouth.

The role offers £15.00-£16.00 per hour, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with weekly pay. An HGV Class 2 licence and comfort with laptops/tablets for data entry are required.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence is required.
• Competent with a laptop/tablet for data entry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote CCTV investigations to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.
• Liaising with customers.
• Updating electronical records.
• Adhering to the company safety and compliance policies.
• Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks and maintenance reporting.

Department:

Our Drainage/Depot Network consists of a strategically located depot network across the UK, spanning from Aberdeen to Plymouth. Enabling rapid response to customer requirements and providing round-the-clock coverage, 365 days a year. This extensive footprint allows Lanes to combine local responsiveness with national capability, ensuring consistent service standards while maintaining close relationships with regional customers and infrastructure partners.

Purpose of the role:

• £15.00-£16.00 per hour (Paid weekly)
• Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
