Job summary

Top Jobs Group Ltd in Reading is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver for a permanent role. You will start around 6:00am–7:00am Monday to Friday, delivering to customers and ensuring paperwork is completed accurately.

The role requires a full HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, tachograph card and at least 1 year of Class 2 driving experience. A HIAB certificate is preferred and you must follow all regulations and company safety policies.

Qualifications

• Full Category C / HGV Class 2 licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 1 year HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Current HIAB / Lorry Mounted Loader certificate preferred.
• Good knowledge of Drivers’ Hours and WTD regulations.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure and deliver goods safely and professionally.
• Complete all required delivery and collection paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and walk-round inspections.
• Operate the HIAB / lorry-mounted crane safely and efficiently.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries and collections.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Comply with Drivers’ Hours rules and Road Transport Regulations.

HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver – Permanent Role – Reading

We are urgently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to join a well-established builders’ merchant / recycling company in the Reading area.

• Hours - Monday to Friday, 6:00am / 7:00am starts
• Salary - £38,000k, plus 15% bonus after successful completion of probation period
• Annual Leave -25 days plus bank holidays

Duties will include:

• Loading, securing and delivering goods safely and professionally
• Completing all required delivery and collection paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and walk-round inspections
• Ensuring the vehicle remains safe and roadworthy
• Operating the HIAB / lorry-mounted crane safely
• Completing multi-drop deliveries and collections
• Following all company Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Complying with Drivers’ Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport Regulations

What we are looking for:

• Full Category C / HGV Class 2 licence
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 1 year HGV Class 2 driving experience
• Current accredited HIAB / Lorry Mounted Loader certificate preferred
• Good knowledge of Drivers’ Hours and WTD regulations
