Job summary

Hunter Education Limited is seeking an experienced HV/B&C Tutor to deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions to apprentices in the commercial vehicle repair industry in North West London. This full-time permanent role offers an opportunity to move into training or advance as a tutor within a well-regarded training provider.

You'll join a busy training academy, delivering both practical and theory-based training to groups of apprentices and helping shape the next generation of industry

Qualifications

• Essential: Strong background as an HV/B&C Technician within the automotive industry.
• Essential: Minimum Level 3 NVQ/ATA or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Desirable: Knowledge of high voltage (HV/B&C) vehicles and electrical systems, including ADAS.
• Desirable: Level 3 qualification in Education and Teaching, or equivalent.
• Desirable: Proven ability to develop others' knowledge and competence to Level 3 standard and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training of the highest standard in vehicle repair to apprentices, supporting the development of their skills and behaviours.
• Deliver practical and theory training to groups of HV/B&C apprentices.
• Provide fair, accurate assessments against prescribed criteria.
• Maintain and complete programme documentation promptly.
• Ensure learner outcomes align with awarding body standards.
• Support the development of training materials, including clear schemes of work, lesson plans, objectives and outcomes.
• Embed inclusive practices to ensure all learners have the opportunity to succeed.
