Job summary

The Staffing Network Ltd is recruiting an HGV Grab Driver for a client near Great Dunmow. You will safely operate a grab lorry to collect, transport and deliver aggregates, waste, soil, and construction materials in line with company policies and road transport regulations.

Ideal candidates hold a valid HGV licence (Class 2 or 1) with Driver CPC and a Digital Tachograph Card, plus proven experience with hydraulic grab equipment and UK regulatory knowledge.]

Qualifications

• Must hold valid HGV Licence (Class 2 or Class 1) and Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Experience operating a hydraulic grab/grab lorry is essential.
• Knowledge of UK road transport regulations and health & safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate an HGV grab lorry safely and efficiently.
• Load/unload materials using hydraulic grab equipment.
• Deliver aggregates, waste, soil and construction materials to sites.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and report defects.
• Ensure loads are secured and compliant with regulations.
• Complete delivery notes and maintain vehicle cleanliness and paperwork.
