Job summary

Jones Lighting, part of United Infrastructure, is recruiting an experienced HGV Grab Driver / Reinstatement Specialist to join our Widnes depot. You will safely operate a grab wagon with clamshell optional, carry out excavation and highway reinstatement after street lighting works, and work around utilities.

You will need a full valid HGV licence, a year's experience with grab wagons, Streetworks Units 1-7, and a CSCS SHEA Power card.

Qualifications

• Full, valid HGV licence with appropriate entitlement.
• Minimum of one year's experience operating a grab wagon.
• Streetworks Qualification Units 1–7 or equivalent.
• CSCS SHEA Power card or utility safety qualification.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HGV grab wagon, including clamshell if applicable.
• Carrying out excavation, material handling and highway reinstatement.
• Work around underground utilities and overhead services.
• Set up and maintain Signing, Lighting and Guarding to protect crew and public.
• Complete vehicle and equipment checks and report defects.
