Job summary

Ford & Slater in Devizes is seeking a Supplier Operations Engineer within our DAF Fleet Services team. You will manage maintenance costs, review warranties, and build strong supplier relationships to resolve technical queries while supporting customers.

The role offers a base salary of £36,500 to £38,750, a quarterly bonus up to £1,500 (potentially £6,000 extra per year), pension, 22 days holiday rising with service, and opportunities for training and progression. Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience in automotive/fleet environment.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Good IT literacy and ability to use email/phone efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships and resolve maintenance/technical queries.
• Monitor maintenance costs aligning with warranty guidelines.
• Collate and analyze cost data to identify spend trends and cost-saving opportunities.
