Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the UK is currently seeking experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for tramping roles. Successful candidates will exhibit reliability, safety consciousness, and a strong driving history. This position offers competitive hourly rates between £17 and £22 based on experience and job availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating a Class 1 vehicle safely.
• Drivers Qualification Card (CPC) required.
• Verifiable references required. Minimum 2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre and post-operation inspections of the vehicle.
• Follow delivery schedules and interact with dispatchers.
• Report any safety issues as necessary.

Job description

We are currently seeking experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for TRAMPING.

Thursday to Monday

AM starts

You will need:

• Clean full UK license (no more than 6 points)
• Minimum 2 year's experience
• Drivers Qualification Card (CPC)
• Drivers Tachograph Card
• Verifiable references
• Reliable and a good time keeper
• Experience of operating a Class 1 vehicle in a safe manner

Expectations:

• Confident Class 1 driver.
• Able to perform a complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle as required by company policy checking tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in good working order.
• Able to report any safety issues on standard reports
• Able to follow instructions and the delivery schedule and confident to interact with dispatchers to complete the job to a high standard
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures

Pay rates

We are able to offer rates between 17- 22 depending on job available
