Job Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for driving the vehicle and crew to the designated address, and supporting the Crew with removals duties, including packing, loading and unloading the vehicle.
- You will need to be physically fit to pack, carry, load/unload the vehicle, and dismantle/reassemble furniture.
- You must be willing to work unsocial hours, including some nights away. A valid passport is required for moves involving collection/delivery in mainland Europe.
- Maintain a polite and professional demeanor at all times in this customer-facing role, with strong communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Be reliable, flexible, and punctual, as move day schedules are vital and can be stressful for the customer.
- Complete all removals paperwork accurately and submit it promptly.
- Maintain regular communication with the Office.
- Wear the company uniform at all times and PPE when collecting or delivering to customers and other sites.
- You will need your own transport, as you will be departing from and returning to the local depot.
Driving Requirements
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects to the Office.
- Ensure all loads are safely secured, preventing waste or debris from falling.
- Load and unload the vehicle following safe working practices and complete risk assessments as required.
- Fuel the vehicle and keep it clean externally and internally to standard.
- Keep your vehicle and trailer in a safe, serviceable, and clean condition.
- Download the Tachograph card weekly.
- Report accidents and incidents immediately to the Transport Manager.
- Comply with all company, UK, and European safety and driving regulations.
- Provide proof of DCPC.

- HGV Drivers must have at least 1 year of HGV driving experience, up-to-date DCPC, and a Digi Tacho Card.
