Job summary

Banner Plant is seeking an experienced HGV Driver to deliver and collect site accommodation units, working with the operations team to install whole site setups and manage stacking and de-stacking of units.

The role requires a full HGV Class 1 licence, HIAB and CPC with tachograph card; NPORS Plant loader or CPCS/ALLMI loader qualifications are desirable. Training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Full HGV Class 1 licence without endorsements or penalties.
• HIAB qualification and CPC with tachograph card.
• NPORS Plant loader and CPCS/ALLMI loader qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries and collections of site accommodation and welfare units safely and on time.
• Work with operations team on installing site setups and stacking/removing units.
• Complete paperwork accurately and maintain daily lorry/crane checks.
• Carry out risk assessments and report faults to Dispatch/Managers.
• Keep yard tidy, maintain stock levels and support with stock takes.
• Operate yard machinery and refuel/record fuel use as required.
