Job Title: HGV Driver Weekends

Location: Plymouth

Salary: £15.86 p/h to £25.16 p/h

Pertemps, in partnership with the Royal Mail, is seeking HGV Drivers for the Plymouth site to work weekends. If you're looking for work, our onsite team across the country is ready to assist you in starting immediately.

As an HGV Weekend Driver, after completing an assessment, you will trunk parcels and mail between depots across the Royal Mail Network. The role involves manual work, with shifts offered 1 week in advance. We offer competitive pay rates and a variety of start times and days to suit different preferences. Flexibility is appreciated as shifts may vary.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can work weekends or start in the afternoon, working into the evening or night shifts.

Entry Requirements

• Held your licence for at least 2 years with no more than 5 penalty points. A clean licence is preferred, as exceeding 5 points may lead to termination of the assignment.
• Minimum of 180 days driving experience within the last 2 years, relevant to commercial driving.
• No more than 10 infringements over 12 months, with no more than 6 of the same categories within 6 months.
• Ability to check your Digi tacho before assessment; manual entries on the Digi tacho are essential.
• No DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements accepted.
• Must pass a CRB security check following registration due to client requirements.
