Job summary

Rexel UK is seeking an experienced HGV Driver Trainer to join our Aylesbury Distribution Centre and wider supply chain network. You will deliver inductions, driver assessments, risk assessments and ongoing training to ensure high safety, compliance and performance standards across the fleet.

This Monday to Friday role requires flexibility across AM, PM and Night shifts. You’ll work closely with the transport team to support day-to-day operations, develop drivers and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• UK Driver Accessor Certificate required or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years HGV driving experience across varied vehicles
• Experience conducting driver assessments

Responsibilities

• Deliver driver inductions and pre-employment assessments
• Provide refresher training and additional mode training
• Maintain accurate training and competence records
• Support drivers following incidents through reassessment and retraining
• Review driver performance data with management and create action plans
• Coaching for driver development and learning
• Share vehicle updates and relevant operational information with drivers
• Support continuous improvement in training and driver development
• Accident and incident reduction across the fleet
• Support legislative compliance alongside safety teams
