Job summary

XPO Logistics in Sherburn in Elmet is seeking a driver trainer to join our team on a Monday to Friday dayshift. The role blends driving duties with delivering training to new starters and retraining current staff.

You will conduct driving assessments, inductions and maintain training records, supporting the Operational Trainer to meet contract requirements. A CPC & Digital Tachograph card and full UK licence with HGV experience are required.

Qualifications

• HGV driving experience on UK roads.
• Strong knowledge of the UK road network and safety practices.
• Ability to support training, inductions and retraining of staff.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries to customers for XPO Logistics.
• Assist Training team in conducting training and maintaining compliance.
• Conduct driving assessments and inductions for new starters.
