Job summary

BSW Group in Rainham is seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join our Manufacturing team at the Rainham site. You will transport wooden products to customer sites, ensure first-time delivery and maintain high standards of service and safety.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, comply with UK road transport regulations and support training of new drivers. A Class 1 licence with CPC and at least 2 years' experience are required. We offer a contributory pension, discounts and on-site fruit.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Class 1 Licence and Driver CPC.
• Minimum 2 years' HGV driving experience required.
• Commitment to safety, health and road regulations.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Transport wooden products to customer sites and deliver orders first time on time.
• Complete a Daily Vehicle Check and report defects to management.
• Check delivery notes and manifests; ensure loads are within weight/capacity limits.
• Drive in compliance with UK Road Transport regulations and company policies.
• Assist in induction and training of new drivers where needed.
