Job summary

CCF, part of the Travis Perkins Group, is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver in Southampton, Hampshire. You’ll move plasterboard and insulation between branches and to customers, using a MOFFETT forklift. Training is provided if you don’t yet hold a MOFFETT licence.

The role offers sociable hours from Monday to Friday with no overnights or late evenings, well-maintained vehicles, a pension scheme, holiday pay reviews, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Must hold Category C driving licence with up-to-date CPC records.
• Recent HGV driving experience is required.
• Customer-facing skills and relationship-building are important.
• Safety is a top priority and must be observed at all times.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks to move plasterboard and insulation between branches and to customers.
• Use MOFFETT forklift to load and unload safely and efficiently.
• Perform multi-drop deliveries and return to branch to reload.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be driving our trucks, moving plasterboard and insulation from our branches to customers, using a MOFFETT forklift to load and unload safely and efficiently. Don’t worry if you don’t have a MOFFETT license – we’ll train you! It’s a multi-drop role, so you’ll be back to the branch at least once to reload before hitting the road again.
