Job summary

CCF is seeking an experienced HGV Driver (Class 2) in Southampton to join our branch fleet. You will drive our trucks to branches and customers, loading with a MOFFETT forklift and returning to base for reloads as required.

You’ll work Monday to Friday with sociable hours and comprehensive training provided. The role emphasizes safety, customer interactions, and reliable service; the successful candidate will have a current Category C licence, CPC, and recent HGV experience.

Qualifications

• Category C licence with CPC records and recent HGV experience.
• Strong focus on safety and customer service.
• Ability to operate MOFFETT forklift is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks and move plasterboard/insulation to customers.
• Load and unload safely using MOFFETT forklift; training provided if needed.
• Work a multi-drop route with reloads at branches.

What will you be doing?

You'll be driving our trucks, moving plasterboard and insulation from our branches to customers, using a MOFFETT forklift to load and unload safely and efficiently. Don't worry if you don't have a MOFFETT license - we'll train you! It's a multi-drop role, so you'll be back to the branch at least once to reload before hitting the road again.
