Job summary

Freightliner is seeking an HGV Driver (Nights) based at London Gateway to join our busy operations in London Gateway. You will drive modern multi‑drop container movements, ensuring timely deliveries while upholding health and safety as a top priority.

The role offers a permanent, full‑time contract, 50 hours per week (Mon–Fri) with overtime and weekend work available. A competitive salary, pension, life cover and ongoing training are included to support your career with Freightliner.

Qualifications

• Holder of a current and valid Class 1 driving licence (max 6 points).
• Full CPC qualification (DQC card).
• Experience of transporting containers.
• Be flexible with working hours.
• Good comprehension of written and spoken English.
• Have deep understanding of the importance of health and safety and be committed to always upholding a safe approach to all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate HGVs to transport containers in a timely and safe manner.
• Adhere to road transport regulations and Freightliner safety policies.
• Report any vehicle defects or incidents to the supervisor.
• Maintain logbooks and complete duty and rest period records as required.

The role

With a fleet of top spec, modern luxury vehicles and recent investment in technology we are looking for the right individual to join our team in London Gateway.

As an HGV Driver you will be responsible for transporting containers in a timely manner, all while sharing our culture and belief of health and safety being the number one priority.

About you
