Job summary

Freightliner Group Ltd in Southampton is seeking an HGV Driver (Specialist Haulage) to join our team. You will transport containers and uphold our safety-first culture while working a 50-hour week with potential overtime and weekend work.

The ideal candidate holds a Class 1 licence, CPC, and at least one year of driving experience, including container transport. Strong English skills and flexibility are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Current and valid HGV Class 1 UK licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Full CPC qualification (DQC card) is required.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience, with container handling preferred.
• Flexible with working hours including overtime and weekends.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong focus on health and safety at all times.

The role

With a fleet of top spec, modern luxury vehicles and recent investment in technology we are looking for the right individual to join our team in Southampton. As an HGV Driver you will be responsible for transporting containers in a timely manner, all while sharing our culture and belief of health and safety being the number one priority.

About you

• Current and valid Class 1 UK driving licence (maximum of 6 penalty points).
• Full CPC qualification (DQC card)
• Minimum 1 year's driving experience
• Proven experience of transporting containers
• Flexibility with working hours
• Good comprehension of written and spoken English
• Strong understanding of health and safety, with a commitment to maintaining a safe approach in all tasks
