Job summary

DPD Group is seeking a reliable HGV Driver to join the national transport team and help keep the UK moving with a modern fleet and a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will execute nationwide collections and deliveries, manage trailer swaps, and use GPS and tachographs to ensure compliance. The role offers a clear start window and opportunities for growth within a people-first logistics culture.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.
• You’re a resourceful problem-solver who can work under pressure and hit deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on HGV-friendly locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachographs to manage your route and remain 100% compliant.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.
