Job summary

RECRUITMENTiQ is partnering with a Scotland-based business to recruit an experienced HGV Driver for our Drem, East Lothian team. You will perform multi-drop deliveries across Edinburgh, East Lothian and throughout Scotland, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently.

We offer a competitive hourly rate starting at £14.50, overtime at 1.5x, and stable full-time hours with porter support for deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV licence (essential).
• Experience in a similar driving role.
• Ability to carry out medium to heavy lifting.
• Strong knowledge of road safety and compliance regulations.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Flexible hours, including weekends during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled multi-drop deliveries across designated routes
• Load and unload vehicles as required
• Work alongside a porter when necessary to complete deliveries
• Ensure deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner
• Adhere to all driving regulations, including driver hours and safety compliance
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues promptly
