Loomis UK is recruiting for Driver Guards in Maidstone to safely transport cash and valuables between client sites. You’ll deliver with a focus on security, accuracy, and customer service, with full training provided.

The role offers 40 hours per week with weekend/bank holiday flexibility, enhancements on HGV routes, and a London allowance plus additional shift pay. Probationary pay increases apply.

Formación

• Pass criminal record, personal credit and ID checks.

• Current UK driving licence (Category C1 minimum).
• Must be approved to attain an SIA licence; existing CVIT SIA licence qualifies for post-probation rate and £1,000 bonus.

Salary £14.06 per hour, rising to £15.06 per hour on probation completion, plus London Allowance & HGV Supplements

Due to an increase in workload, our Maidstone branch is seeking HGV Delivery Drivers (known internally as Driver Guards).

Pay: £14.06 per hour, rising to £15.06 per hour post-probation, plus £1725 per annum London allowance and varying shift pay.

When working on HGV routes, drivers are paid at an enhanced rate (£16.09 per hour post-probation) and receive a supplement.

Hours: 40 hours per week (Part time hours also available)

The role

As a Driver Guard, you'll play a key role in our service delivery, representing our business with professionalism and helping to maintain strong customer relationships.

You'll be responsible for the secure transportation of cash and valuables between clients and destinations, ensuring high standards of service and safety. You'll complete deliveries with precision, adhere to safety protocols, and perform vehicle checks before each journey to guarantee reliable service. This role requires the post holder to undertake deliveries to a variety of customer sites and can involve physically demanding activities such as walking, bending, lifting and carrying (up to 15kg) multiple times daily, in order to meet the performance standards expected by our customers. This isn't your typical delivery job - to be successful as a Driver Guard at Loomis UK, you'll need to bring more than just driving skills.

You'll be dependable, punctual, and great at communicating with customers, colleagues, and the public. Being a team player with a positive, \"can-do\" attitude is essential.You'll also need to have a flexible approach to working hours (including weekends and bank holidays) and be happy to adapt to meet changing circumstances.

To enable you to carry out your role successfully, we will provide you with full training, your essential kit (including full uniform and Personal Protective Equipment where required), as well as continued development throughout your career with us.

• You must be able to pass criminal record, personal credit and ID checks

• You must be approved to attain an SIA licence. Joining us with an existing CVIT SIA licence will automatically qualify you for the post-probation rate of pay, as well as a £1,000 bonus. If you don’t hold one already, you will be required to attain a licence (paid for by us) during your probation period
