Job summary

Bullet Express is seeking two experienced Class 2 HGV drivers for night shifts (Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun) in the UK. Join a two-person delivery team, handle loading/unloading, and manage returns with tail lifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience driving Heavy Goods Vehicles.
• Experience with pallet trucks or tail lifts and manual handling.
• Excellent customer service and professional presentation.
• Ability to work night shifts in a two-person team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading 2–3 trailers nightly with handball.
• Load delivery vehicle and ensure cargo security.
• Work as part of a two-person team to open/close customer premises.
• Deliver and collect returns using tail lift and pallet truck; complete paperwork.

Join Our Team as a Class 2 HGV Driver - Nightshift

About Us: Due to Contract Expansion Bullet Express is seeking 2 experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our dynamic team. If you’re passionate about driving and delivering excellent service, we want to hear from you! This position is 4 x nights per week Wed , Thurs, Sat and Sun and you will be working as a two man team .

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with unload of 2 -3 trailers nightly including handball
• Assisting with loading your delivery vehicle
• Securely opening and closing customer premises as part of a two man team
• Delivering and Collecting any returns required via Tail Lift & pallet truck
• Accurately complete and submit all work-related paperwork at the end of each shift.
• Perform thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Report any non-conformities or near misses to your line manager promptly.
• Ensure timely deliveries and maintain the integrity of goods during transit and delivery.

Experience & Personal Qualities

• Proven experience driving Heavy Goods Vehicles.
• Experience in power pallet truck.
• Experience in electronic delivery equipment.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Pride in maintaining and respecting the provided equipment.
• Strong ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently.

Licence/Certification

• Digital Tacho Card (Required)
• Appropriate Driving License (Required)
• Driver CPC (Required)
• Comprehensive knowledge of driver regulations (Required)
