Job summary

Routes To Work South is seeking two experienced Class 2 HGV drivers for a four-night-per-week shift in Bothwell. You will work as part of a two-man team delivering and collecting goods, with duties including unloading/loading, security of premises, and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Digital Tacho Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist unloading 2-3 trailers nightly.
• Assist with loading delivery vehicle.
• Securely open/close customer premises as part of a two-man team.
• Deliver and collect returns via tail lift & pallet truck.
• Accurately complete and submit all shift paperwork.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Key Tasks

• Assisting with unload of 2 -3 trailers nightly including handball.
• Assisting with loading your delivery vehicle.
• Securely opening and closing customer premises as part of a two-man team.
• Delivering and collecting any returns required via Tail Lift & pallet truck.
• Accurately complete and submit all work-related paperwork at the end of each shift.
• Perform thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Report any non-conformities or near misses to your line manager promptly.
• Ensure timely deliveries and maintain the integrity of goods during transit and delivery.
