Job summary

Brakes in Tamworth is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our delivery team. You will transport ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers across the local region, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries that meet top food hygiene standards.

You will also maintain load plans, records and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers. The role requires a qualified Class 2 Driver with valid CPC, a proactive work approach and a commitment to customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• A qualified Class 2 Driver with valid CPC cards.
• Commitment to providing the highest standard of service to customers.
• Eye for detail.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Flexibility to work in a shift system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers in the local region.
• Ensure deliveries are safe, on time and to high hygiene standards.
• Maintain accurate records, complete load plans and build customer relationships.

• Mon-Fri plus 1 in 3 Sat with a rest day in the weekstarting between 05:00 - 06:00 (Full time 45 hrs)
• Mon, Fri or Sat starting between 04:00 - 07:00 (Part time working 1, 2 or 3 days)
