Job summary

Brakes is recruiting for a Class 2 Driver based in Reading. You will deliver ambient, chilled and frozen goods to local customers, ensuring on-time deliveries and rigorous food hygiene standards.

The role involves maintaining load plans, keeping accurate records and fostering strong relationships with customers and colleagues. You’ll need a valid CPC, a proactive approach, and the flexibility to work a shift system in a busy logistics team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Class 2 Driver with valid CPC cards.
• Commitment to providing the highest standard of service to customers.

• Ability to follow processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers in the local region.

£44,686 (£18.62 per hour) plus up to £1500 annual bonus + a great range of benefits

Foodservice - Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 Saturdays - starting between 04:30 - 06:00

Logistics - Week 1 6 days on (Mon-Sat) then Week 2 4 days on (Mon-Sat) Permanent Sunday off starting between 04:00 - 07:00
