Job summary

Brakes, part of Sysco, is seeking a dedicated HGV Class 2 driver to deliver ambient, chilled and frozen goods across the local region from Preston. You will ensure on-time, safe deliveries and maintain high food hygiene standards while building strong relationships with customers and teammates.

Role requires a qualified Class 2 driver with CPC, good attention to detail and the ability to follow set procedures in a shift-based schedule that includes some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Qualified Class 2 Driver with valid CPC cards.
• Commitment to providing high standard of service to customers.
• Eye for detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow processes and work in a shift system.

Increased Salary Package: £44,000 per annum (£18.80 per hour) plus bonus & a great range of benefits

Working Hours: Starting around 06:00 Monday - Friday plus 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota (with a rest day in the week, 45 hrs pw)

A Satisfying Role

A key member of our driving team, you'll deliver our fantastic ambient, chilled, and frozen products to customers across the local region. You'll make sure everything is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest food hygiene standards. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, completing load plans, and building positive relationships with your colleagues and customers.
