Job summary

ADR Network is recruiting professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for Gist, Marks & Spencer's distribution operation in Portbury. Work can be ongoing or ad-hoc, with AM/PM shifts and flexible patterns to suit your needs.

Pay rates include Days from £19.30/hour, Nights from £21.29/hour, Weekends up to £23.20/hour, and December uplift adding up to £8.00 extra per hour, taking rates to £27.08–£30.56/hour. All rates are PAYE with holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence.
• Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 12 months of recent HGV driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only).

Responsibilities

• Assessments are scheduled for registered drivers; registration can be online, by phone, or in person.
• Start dates depend on successful driving assessment and registration.

Pay Rates

• Days: From £19.30 per hour
• Nights: From £21.29 per hour
• Weekends: Up to £23.20 per hour
• UP TO £8.00 EXTRA PER HOUR IN DECEMBER, TAKING THE HOURLY RATE TO BETWEEN £27.08 AND £30.56!
• All rates are PAYE, with holiday pay accrued separately.

Shift Information:

• Typical start times are across a broad range as it is a 24-hour operation.
• Trunking work – no interaction with the load
• Start times from 00:01 – 23:00
• Usual shift length: 10–12 hours
• Full training provided following a successful driving assessment
